C Clarke & Son Funeral Directors were proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone as Funeral Service Specialist and Memorial Consultant Debbie Barker marked 25 years supporting families across the Frodsham community. The office closed for colleagues and members of the community to celebrate “Debbie day”
Laura Southby, Cluster Manager paid tribute to Debbie’s contribution saying “Debbie has been an incredibly dedicated and valued member of our team for the past 25 years. Her compassion, professionalism and commitment to caring for families is truly exceptional. She always goes above and beyond to support people through difficult times and her experience and kindness make a real difference to both our clients and colleagues every single day and we are extremely grateful for her loyalty and hard work.”
Debbie became interested in the profession after her father’s funeral but after a colleague’s death, questioned this. But a newspaper advert caught her eye and she has never looked back. Debbie said that it had been her “privilege and honour to serve families in their worst moments and to treat their loved one with dignity and care.” To the relief of her colleagues she says she has no plans to retire.
