The Find it in Frodsham initiative encouraged local businesses to decorate shop windows, create pink themed products and host fundraising events throughout June.
The month featured a packed programme, from Dandelion’s family –friendly Jellycat trail to Devonshire Bakery’s pink iced buns. One of many notable events was Dory’s Café’s charity dog walk.
Holly from the café said, “We all wanted to do something positive to raise awareness, encourage conversations and bring the community together. It was wonderful to see Frodsham businesses, people, and even four-legged friends getting involved.”
The campaign demonstrated the strength of the town’s community spirit. Alongside raising money for the charity, awareness around breast cancer and its prevention was raised and displayed what can be achieved when a whole town comes together for a shared purpose. At the time of printing, the campaign has raised £3835.55!
