Frodsham Sings Community Choir

Frodsham SingsThere are many choirs around, but inclusion and friendship goes hand in hand with the joy of singing contemporary songs at Frodsham Sings.

There is a wealth of evidence that singing is good for emotional wellbeing. Research shows that when people sing, the brain releases endorphins and oxytocin which in turn lowers stress and anxiety levels.

Frodsham SingsOver the last 12 years, the choir has built a strong sense of community and a warm welcome is given to newcomers, no matter what experience or level of singing, with no audition necessary. Singing can improve health, boost confidence and self esteem and reduce feelings of depression and loneliness.

With a Wellbeing steering group member and friends ready to help, emotional and practical support is offered when needed. There is a lot of laughter with this choir and rehearsals on a Saturday morning are always followed by tea, biscuits (and cakes once a month!) and chats.

The choir also has many social events throughout the year such as quiz nights and dinners, afternoon tea and lots of concerts to take part in too. It can be nerve racking to sing at your first concert but the beauty of a choir is that you are not alone. Choir is a great leveler and group fun. Contact for a free taster session.
