Winter maintenance is going well with a boiler test and inspection to complete. 2026 is potentially a make or break year for The Danny. Maintaining and operating a 123 year old steamship comes with significant challenges and public interest and community support is vital to preserve one of the last working steamships of her kind. Hopefully, Marsh Lock will be open for trips on to the Manchester Ship Canal and the work on the swing bridge has been completed.
