On the 23rd August this new and FREE event was held in Castle Park thanks to Frodsham Town Council Events Committee and volunteers. The weather held and attendance was excellent with many families relaxing with picnics all over the park. Children enjoyed bouncy castles, a helter skelter and face paints and thanks go to Tin Can Alley for providing traditional fair games which were very busy all afternoon. Thanks also go to Frodsham Guides for their support.
A Dog Show on the top field was organized by Tail Mates in partnership with Bindis Lost & Found. There were many competition categories including “the dog with the waggiest tail”, which was hugely popular with the crowd as well as the dogs!
Funds raised totalled £646 for Bindis, who provide free services, specialist advice and equipment to reunite owners with lost pets.
Thanks go to Hipswing and helpers for managing the music and entertainment stage which helped the afternoon go with a swing.
Thanks also to Cheshire West & Chester Council for managing the litter so successfully.
But most of all, thanks to the community for attending and enjoying a lovely family afternoon in Frodsham.
