The Parish Church of St Laurence has served the people of Frodsham for over eight hundred years through acts of worship, pastoral care, charitable giving and community service. Its vision is to be “the church of everyday, with something for everyone”, offering a welcoming, warm, safe space to all.
The Reverend Elaine Atack has been Vicar here for five years, and just over a year ago launched the 'Giving in Grace' scheme. This has helped raise much needed funds for St. Laurence, the only Grade I listed building in the town. Unfortunately, many historic Churches close through lack of funds for upkeep.
Rev Atack would like to give a most heartfelt "thank you" for the generosity of those who have joined ‘Giving in Grace’. Regular donations go to the Friends of St Laurence Frodsham fund and are used towards essential maintenance adding to funds raised through collection plate donations.
