Monthly meetings are held at Frodsham Community Centre and provide activities, interests and friendship for women of all ages. Come along to the next meeting at 7.30pm on 3rd April and listen to an Art Historian speaking about Forgotten Women Artists. Find out what activities are planned and enjoy socialising with members. This year’s walks include railway walks starting at either Runcorn or Frodsham, supported by Frodsham History Society with an interpretation on the railway’s impact on local communities. There will be a variety of walks, led by local guides and will include wellbeing walks, pub lunch walks, history walks, nature walks, foraging and dog walks for families and children and more!

Frodsham Town Council are planning a series of events, along with others all over the country, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe on 8th May – VE Day.
Frodsham recently made headlines when filming in the town for a gangster drama ‘Semolina Pilchard’ didn’t quite go to plan. Actors and camera crew were forced to stop abruptly after armed police swarmed their set and ordered them to drop their guns.
